Have you got five minutes for the young people of North East Hertfordshire?

Buntingford and  Royston are two small towns situated in the rural districts of  East and North Hertfordshire respectively, located in the south east corner of the UK.   Map

Between the two towns there are three middle schools, which cover years 5 - 8  and two upper schools incorporating years 9 onwards. These schools have approximately 2600 young people attending them, drawing pupils from not only Buntingford and Royston but towns and villages surrounding them.

Based on national data we estimate only 4% of these young people will come into regular contact with the Christian church, whatever the denomination, leaving roughly 2500 that have little or no  contact with the church.

Our uniting belief is that young people matter to God and therefore they should matter to us.  If the young people are not coming to the church, then we want the church to go out to them.

It is with this thought that the BRAVE trust was founded in early 2005 to employ a full time schools worker or two part time workers.

If you agree with our ideals please take five minutes to browse our web site and get in contact with us.

Thank you for taking the time.
